With it now being just on nine months until Sungold Stadium, Premier Speedway, Warrnambool plays host to the Lucas Oils 49th Australian Sprintcar Championship, the level of support continues to build with Simonds Homes today signing an agreement to become a major supporting sponsor of the event.
The Australian Championship which will be held on Friday January 28 and Saturday January 29, 2011 is fast becoming one of the most highly anticipated Australian Championships in recent time.
Simonds Homes have, for the past 60 years, been building a better life for Victorian’s. As times have changed and different builders have come and gone, Simonds’ proud heritage of quality workmanship and stunning design have represented an integral part of the Simonds Homes commitment to customer value to more than 1500 home buyers each and every year, now they become part of the 49th Australian Sprintcar Championship.
“To have a company of the ilk of Simonds Homes on board as a major supporting sponsor of the 2011 Lucas Oils Australian Championship is a massive coup for the Premier Speedway Club”, Premier Speedway General Manager David Mills said.
“Simonds have a proud heritage when it comes to building new homes for many Victorian families and Premier Speedway feels that this proud heritage is similar in ways to that of Premier Speedway, Warrnambool”, Mills added.
Gary Simonds from Simonds Homes was equally upbeat at this week’s announcement.
“We are delighted to form a partnership with the Premier Speedway Club in Warrnambool. It is a real family night out at the speedway and those families of course are extremely important to Simonds Homes. We love putting back into the communities that support us by buying our homes”, Mr. Simonds said.
Richard Poynder, the regional manager for Simonds Homes servicing the Warrnambool area explained the importance of the relationship with the Premier Speedway Club.
“Simonds commitment to Warrnambool is growing. In the near future we will be building our first Display Home in the Marrakai Estate so the partnership with Premier Speedway is extremely important to us”, Mr. Poynder added.
“With Simonds Homes on board as a major supporting sponsor and Lucas Oils already a part of the Australian Championship it is already beginning to build an air of expectation from not only within the Premier Speedway Club but also the greater Speedway community as the Title approaches” Mills concluded.
