Merry Christmas and Bring On Speedweek From Premier Speedway




The Management and Board of the Premier Speedway Club, Warrnambool would like to wish all-of our officials, members, competitors and race fans a Very Merry Christmas ahead of what promises to be an action-packed festive period for all within the Speedway industry.

We ask that you take care, especially on the roads, as many of us make the trip from venue to venue to follow this great sport.

Casting an eye forward to what is coming up at Sungold Stadium, the following is a breakdown on what is happening here as we head into the Month of Money!

World Series Sprintcars will pit the Contracted Stars such as Kerry Madsen, James McFadden, Jack Lee, Jye O’Keeffe, Lockie McHugh and Co against Cory Eliason (USA), Jamie Veal, Steven Lines, Brad Keller, Luke Dillon and the Red-Hot David Murcott over not one but two separate rounds of Speedweek at Sungold Stadium.

Saturday December 29, 2018 – Round 3 of Queensland Speedway Spares World Series Sprintcars Speedweek. The V8 Dirt Modifieds will also be on the program as presented by SHR – Southern Hydraulics and Rubber.

Gates will open at 3pm, with an Open Pit Party between 3 and 4pm for those people with admission tickets.

Admission Prices are:

Adults: $32.00; Concession (Aged, Disability and Veterans Affairs) $27.00; Children 10-15 $10.00 with Children 9 and Under Free.
Companion cards will also be accepted.

It is recommended that all Concession Cardholders (Aged, Disability and Vets Affairs) bring the relevant card along with them to avoid any confusion at the gate.

If Children 15 and Under possess as Student Card (or another form of ID) bring this along as well.

Tuesday January 1, 2019 - Round 5 of Queensland Speedway Spares World Series Sprintcars Speedweek, also on the program will be the Junior Sedan Neville Pike Cup as presented by our event partners Fresha.

Gates will open at 3pm, with an Open Pit Party between 3 and 4pm for those people with admission tickets.

Admission Prices are:

Adults: $32.00; Concession (Aged, Disability and Veterans Affairs) $27.00; Children 10-15 $10.00 with Children 9 and Under Free.
Companion cards will also be accepted.

Sunday January 6, 2019 – The Victorian Speedcar Title, Formula 500’s and the Wingless Sprints with Round 3 of their Summer Slam Series.

Gates will open at 4pm, with Racing getting underway at 5pm.
Admission Prices are:

Adults: $20.00; Children 10-15 $10.00 with Children 9 and Under Free.

Companion cards will also be accepted.

It is recommended that all Concession Cardholders (Aged, Disability and Vets Affairs) bring the relevant card along with them to avoid any confusion at the gate.

If Children 15 and Under possess as Student Card (or another form of ID) bring this along as well.

Reserved seating is also available via the Premier Speedway website, www.premierspeedway.com.au, with tickets available via the link up until midnight the night prior to any event.

Anyone looking to pre-purchase tickets, can do so and will require a credit card and an email address from which the tickets can be readily printed.

Thereafter, ticket sales commence again from gate opening time at the venue, with patrons purchasing a General Admission ticket encouraged to bring along a lawn chair, with a limited amount being available for hire in-venue at a minimal charge.

Full canteen and bar facilities are available, with designated smoking, dry and wet areas also in force. Food will be admitted to the venue, although any glass containers or bottles will be confiscated.
