On-Line Tickets Just Days Away as 2018 Champion Enters Classic

It was the fairytale, hometown win, that twelve months later turned to disaster! But now 2018 Classic Champion Corey McCullagh will aim to deliver again on Australian Sprintcar Racing’s biggest stage, this time for a whole new team!

For the 2019-20 season, including the 48th running of the South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic, McCullagh will pilot the KRE Powered Cool Chassis of Victorian car-owner David Dickson, as the popular Dickson attempts to land a maiden Classic win.

The Classic highs of 2018 were coupled with a low of equal magnitude in 2019 for McCullagh. A heat race tyre malfunction resulted in an arm injury that put an early end to his Title defence, before Robbie Farr claimed victory in the 2018 Classic finale.

In 2020 McCullagh and Dickson will partner with South West Conveyancing, Brighton Volkswagon, Barwon Valley Steel, Road & River, Castrol, Demolition Man, Oval Express Magazine and Warrnambool RV and Caravan Centre.

As all race teams do in the lead up to a new season, McCullagh has dedicated many hours to preparing his teams cars and inventory, working to create a team that can deliver some success in the next few months.

One thing that is for certain is the popular Warrnambool based McCullagh and his new team will have a legion of fans cheering them on whenever they hit the track!

All race fans are reminded that the anticipated launch of on-line ticket sales for not only the 2020 South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic but every meeting of the 2019-20 season at Sungold Stadium is scheduled for October 21, 2019 at 9.00am, with all interested parties advised to keep an eye on the Club’s website and social media platforms for more information as the date approaches.
