Tatnell, Kendrick & Reidy Highlight Growing Classic Entry List

With three Classic wins to his credit, a further six Classic preliminary feature wins and five Australian Championships upon his resume, Brooke Tatnell is the latest star to sign on for duty at the 2020 South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic.

Tatnell, who now calls Forest Lake, Minnesota, home is coming off another American season, that saw him race in both 360 and 410 Sprintcar competition.

A fourth-place finish at the Classic in 2019 will have the fire in the belly burning bright come January as Tatnell returns to the Classic for car owners Ray and Ashley Scott (Mt. Gambier SA). The team is also embarking on the grueling 2019-20 World Series Sprintcars Trail.

The 1995, 1999 and 2009 Classic Champion would love nothing more than to add a fourth Classic crown to his resume and with more nights within the office of the KRE Powered V55 Cool, the chances of Brooke being amongst the contenders is strong.

With an extended schedule promised the backing of Raymond Scott Transport, Ray Scott Pastoral, Southern Paint & Panel, Triple’s Distributors, The Sign Depot, Southern Blasters, Sikkens and Shell Helix Motor Oils will be greatly appreciated as Tatnell attempts to give them some quality bang for their buck!

However Tatnell is sure to have some tough competition, with those already entered and from the likes of Western Australia’s Jason Kendrick and the now Queensland based Danny Reidy.

Kendrick returns to the Classic having largely based his racing in his native WA, performing strongly at the Perth Motorplex with amazing regularity, including a second place run behind Kerry Madsen in the Western Australian Title this past Saturday night.

Reidy bases a majority of his racing around Archerfield in Queensland as well as regular visits to Toowoomba and also Sydney Speedway.

He too has been in good recent form having finished third behind Steven Lines and Bryan Mann at the recent Mountain Masters at Hi-Tec Oils Speedway, Toowoomba.

In 2020 Kendrick will be supported in his trip across the Nullabor by a host of loyal team sponsors including Hit 92.9, AMCAP, Castrol Racing, Del Basso Smallgoods, Kincrome, Novus Glass, Canning Vale Toyota, McCarthy Paint & Panel, Pacific Finance, Schweppes, Red Pepper Promotions, The Pool Shop, TLC Haulage, Varley Transport, Trojan Haulage, Hogs Breath Rockingham, Westrac and Schorer & Sons.

As always Reidy will pilot the immaculate NQ5 Maxim with support from Desert Palms resort in Alice Springs and Eagle Ignition Leads.

One of the few men to circulate Sungold Stadium in sub 10 seconds, South Aussie Aidan Hall is another of the entrants for the 2020 Classic that know how to go fast!

Having featured in the second of the Classic B-Mains during the 2019 Classic, eventually recording a 19th place finish, Hall will be looking to take the Automotive On-Site, Seagrims Mechanical, Queensland Speedway Spares and Steve Wickes Powder Coating Eagle to the Classic final this coming January.

Another of the Queensland based entries is the Morgan Metal Corp, Revolution Racegear Sunshine Coast, Helio’s Fitness and Pressure Point Massage entry of Randy Morgan.

Morgan will pilot the Inglis Racing Engines powered Q54 Triple X while on Classic duty as looks to improve on his C-Main appearance in 2019.

Another of the interstate visitors is Luke Stirton.

Stirton contested the Classic in 2019 and in more recent times has made a-number-of feature event starts at Sydney Speedway.

The A-One Charge Air Coolers N10 entry is always beautifully presented and with support coming from Motoradco and Pepper Money it will certainly catch the eye of many as Luke aims to lock it into the final field of 24.

The sole Victorian in the most recent group of entrants is Jarrod Woolstencroft.

The Warrnambool based racer did not contest the Classic in 2019 so he will be looking to secure some valuable seat time during this Saturday’s Max’s Race and the upcoming rounds of World Series Sprintcars at Sungold Stadium to ensure he gives the best possible account of himself for his team partners Cabworx Kitchens, Cabcoat 2Pak Coatings, Wurth and AB Autos.

All race fans are reminded that on-line ticket sales for not only the 2020 South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic but every meeting of the 2019-20 season at Sungold Stadium commenced on October 21.
