360-LS SPRINTCAR TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP SET FOR ROUND 2

The Welsh’s Garage Doors & Gates 360-LS Sprintcar Track Championship presented by Dirt X Ind. returns for Round 2 this Saturday, February 22 at Sungold Stadium Premier Speedway.

With some great incentives for teams to compete in the three-round series, the battle will resume this weekend following Round 1 held back in November.

A thirty-three-strong field has nominated to contest the track championship round which also doubles as Round 6 of the SRA Series powered by Fueled.

Current points leader Jamie Veal and second in points Rusty Hickman are yet to nominate for the event which could be Championship defining with only one round remaining after Saturday night’s event.

The potential omission of Veal and Hickman provides a great opportunity for current third-placed Brett Milburn to yield a solid points haul. It also opens up a lifeline for Tasmanian Tate Frost driving the Matt & Renae Eastham owned machine who was a non-finisher in Round 1.

Saturday nights field contains two 360-LS Sprintcar rookie lady racers, Zoe Pearce and Ebony Hobson. They are no rookies to racing Speedway however, with Pearce forging a Speedcar career and Hobson with several seasons under her belt in the Wingless Sprint category.
