A flurry of nominations for the 2025 Flying Horse Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic have arrived ahead of the on-time cut off with more still expected to come in prior to the event.

The nomination list currently stands at seventy-five, including six Americans and Australia’s best from right across Australia converging on Warrnambool for the 52nd running of the ‘Classic’.

Yet again the event will attract the largest car count in the nation for the event which pays out in the vicinity of $300,000 across the weekend.

This year there are some great off-track events commencing on Monday January 20 with ‘Thrill on the Hill’, featuring a Sprintcar Parade and formal opening.

While the event is free, attendees must register to secure their free ticket which is permitted for entry. Registrations are now open from; https://www.trybooking.com/CXDKS

The traditional ‘Classic’ Breakfast returns on the Friday morning, along with The Standard Fan Appreciation Day which this year will be held at the Warrnambool Racing Club (64 Grafton Road, Warrnambool) on Saturday January 25.
