Brock Hallett capped off a memorable 2022/23 season by taking the 2022/23 Total Tools Warrnambool Sprintcar Track Championship at Premier Speedway.

The season long championship awards were presented on Easter Sunday night with thanks to Total Tools Warrnambool, the Midfield Group and Fitzmedia Productions.

Hallett scored points in every round which ultimately enabled him to snatch the lead in the very last round due to Lochie McHugh, the points leader heading into the final round, did not contest due to racing commitments in his home state of Queensland.

“Premier Speedway is one of the hardest places to win locally, so it is awesome to win the Track Championship which shows our great results and consistency” reflected Hallett.

Hallett also paid respect to the businesses involved in the fantastic prize money awarded and is already looking forward to coming back next season to defend.

Tate Frost from Tasmania was able to score second position, again from his consistency throughout the season, scoring points in every one of the seven rounds contested.

Lochie McHugh due to his strong results finished in third. Lochie only finished outside the top four on one occasion out of the six rounds he contested.

The top five was rounded out by Warrnambool local Jamie Veal in fourth and Supercar driver Cameron Waters in fifth.

Veal was in a strong position but a disappointing result at the March 18 event and missing the Easter Sunday event made it difficult for him to stay in the top three.

Waters on the other hand mounted a late charge but missing out on qualifying into the Preliminary A-Main at the Classic hurt Water’s chances, after scoring points in every other round.

Premier Speedway would like to thank and acknowledge the sponsors of the Premier Speedway Track Championship which include Total Tools Warrnambool, The Midfield Group and Fitzmedia Productions for their tremendous and continued support of the Track Championship.
