JD RACE PARTS TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP RESUMES

The JD Race Parts Super Rod Track Championship resumes this weekend, March 29 at Sungold Stadium Premier Speedway for round 3 of the four-round series.

Freshly crowned Victorian Champion Shaun Walsh is the current points leader following his first and second placing at the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic supported events.

Walsh holds a very small points lead over Jamie May (2 points) with Stan Marco Jnr. another two points back. With the points structure used, there are two finishing positions between first and third with this weekend’s round critical to banking more points towards the championship.

The weekend’s event doubles as the long-standing Super Rod Cup, a blue-ribbon event on the Super Rod calendar.
