Nominations for Max’s Race on December 14 have started coming in and already it is shaping up to be another cracking field, likely to hit 50 once again.
A strong interstate contingent is forming for the event presented by Chitticks Bakery Max’s Race coincides with Round 2 of the Total Tools Warrnambool Track Championship presented by The Midfield Group, Fitzmedia Live and Warrnambool Trailers.
James McFadden makes his first Victorian appearance for the summer driving for Western Australian based Brady Motorsport.
Jamie Veal returns to his local following his stellar start to the season in the region, coming off a last-start win at Sungold Stadium in the 360-LS Sprintcar division.
Current Max’s Race champ Albury’s Grant Anderson will be out in force to go back-to-back and get his hand on the $7000 to-win prize.
Supercar star Cam Waters straps back into Sprintcars, coming off a vastly improved performance last season.
A pair of young Tasmanians Ethan Wyllie and Chad Gardner have nominated joined by Warrnambool locals Grant Stansfield and Peter Doukas.
Visiting American drivers are expected to complement the field including Chase Randall, returning with the Danny Mayson team.
Many more nominations are expected to follow over the next week with nominations open until Sunday December 8.
