At the annual presentation dinner last weekend, several competitors were recognised for their achievements for season 2024/25.
A return of a Club Aggregate saw recognition provided to the club registered cars and drivers including Street Stocks and Super Rods. “The club is appreciative of having several Street Stocks and Super Rods run the ‘W’ prefix and it is fantastic that we celebrate their achievements” said Premier Speedway General Manager, Michael Parry.
The top 3 in points from each division, calculated from their results across the 2024/25 season, were recognised.
Steven Watts (W5) triumphed in the Street Stock division, edging out close mate Peter Kinnear (W3). Creswick’s Jamie Crutchley (W25) took third place.
Jamie May (W8), having a stellar season, was highest on points in the Super Rod division, with Paul Verhoeven (W5) second and Paul Baker (W73) finishing third in points.
An overall Club Aggregate Champion was also crowned, which was awarded to the driver with the overall highest points from the two divisions.
Following a season which included finishing on the podium fourteen out of fifteen nights he contested, including six feature wins, Super Rod driver Jamie May was crowned the 2024/25 Club Aggregate Champion.
We thank the teams who attended the night and for those that competed at Sungold Stadium Premier Speedway during the season.
