The Total Tools Warrnambool Sprintcar Track Championship presented by The Midfield Group, Fitzmedia Live and Warrnambool Trailers resumes next weekend March 15 at Sungold Stadium Premier Speedway.
Following the previous round, which was the final night of the Flying Horse Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic, Warrnambool’s Jamie Veal heads into Round 7 as the current points leader.
With a strong result on March 15 Veal could potentially secure a record eighth Sprintcar Track Championship should he be able to open up more than a 150-point gap prior to the final round on April 20.
Fellow Warrnambool local Peter Doukas has shown great consistency this season at Sungold Stadium scoring points in every round to currently sit a solid second on points to Veal.
The $10,000 to win season long championship has great support from local businesses such as The Midfield Group, Fitzmedia Live and Warrnambool Trailers along with naming rights partner Total Tools Warrnambool.
