Defending and multiple Premier Speedway Track Champion Jamie Veal leads the Total Tools Warrnambool Sprintcar Track Championship following Round 2.
Veal’s consistency to date has been critical to position him on top of the leaderboard heading into a huge month of January where four rounds will be contested.
Tasmanian’s Jock Goodyer has slipped down a spot which is likely to slide further with Goodyer expected to compete in Perth, missing the next round.
Glen Sutherland has rocketed up the standings into fourth place as has Max’s Race winner and fellow South Australian Daniel Pestka.
The next round of the eight-round championship is on January 1 for Brandt Sprintcar Speedweek presented by Fresha.
The $10,000 to win season long championship has great support from local businesses such as The Midfield Group, Fitzmedia Live and Warrnambool Trailers along with naming rights partner Total Tools Warrnambool.
