Thirty plus Sprintcars will battle it out this Saturday March 15 for the 2025 Victorian Sprintcar Title presented by Wheelie Waste at Sungold Stadium Premier Speedway.

Current Victorian Champion Jamie Veal headlines the nominations which also includes the 50th ‘Classic’ winner Brock Hallett aboard the GW Racing Queensland #5 entry.

Veal will compete for his fifth title in six years in the event run in the memory of the 1979 and 1980 champion, Graeme McCubbin.

The field contains a strong interstate contingent looking to take the title back to their state. South Australia has great representation with Luke Dillon, Ryan Jones, Daniel Pestka, Parker Scott and Glen Sutherland who has shown great speed this Summer.

New South Wales Ian Madsen and Queenslander Randy Morgan represent the northern states while Tasmania has a trio representing the southern most state. Exciting talent Tate Frost is joined by veteran mainland competitor Tim Hutchins and generational racer Chad Gardner.

The Victorian Title event doubles as the final round of the Distinct ICT SRA Series with the series champion to be decided for 2024/25. The winning honours looks to be a two-team race with current points leader Jordan Rae in a strong position, however his rival Todd Moule nearly upstaged more fancied rivals at Avalon two weeks ago and then recorded a runner-up finish at the Australian Wingless Sprint Championship last weekend out of 100 plus cars!

Former series winners Bobby Daly, Brett Milburn and Daniel Pestka are in the field with Warrnambool locals Ash Cook, Grant Stansfield, Jake Smith and Peter Doukas who have all shown strong form during the season.

Drivers will also accumulate points towards the Total Tools Warrnambool Track Championship presented by The Midfield group, Fitzmedia Live and Warrnambool Trailers. Current points leader Jamie Veal will be aiming to secure his eighth Premier Speedway Sprintcar Track Championship.

Sharing the program are the Junior Formula 500’s and Vintage Sprintcars.

The on-track action will commence from 5.30pm with public gates opening at 3.30pm with an open pit from 3.30pm to 4.30pm.

Admission tickets and reserved seating can be pre-purchased https://www.trybooking.com/events/landing/1295396 or are available at the venue from 3.30pm race day.
