Sungold Stadium Premier Speedway has been awarded the rights to host the 2025 Australian V8 Dirt Modified Championship.

Premier Speedway Club are excited to host the Australian Championship which will take place on February 20 – 22, 2025. We thank Paul Markulin at the team at Dirt Modifieds Australia for the opportunity to host the 35th running of the prestigious event. 2025 will mark the first time the event has been held in Victoria since Avalon Raceway hosted the event in 2015.

The previous occasion Premier Speedway Club hosted the event was in 2008 when local Tim Morse not only capped off a three-peat but also won his fifth Australian V8 Dirt Modified Championship.

We have no doubt the wide high banks of Sungold Stadium will provide a great venue for the V8 Dirt Modifieds to display fantastic action.

The event will kick off on Thursday February 20 with scrutineering, practice and Calcutta with night 1 of competition kicking off on Friday February 21. Night 1 will consist of two rounds of heats and twin 15 lap features.

Saturday February 22 will see a further round of heats leading into the mains where the new Australian Champion crowned.

More information will be released in the event lead-up. Tickets for the event will go on sale in October.

Ends Release.
