The Premier Speedway Club Management, Board and Members would like to express our deepest condolences on the passing of Life Member Graeme Hose, aged 82 years.
Spending close to fifty years of his life involved at Premier Speedway commencing in the early 1970s, Graeme commenced at the club as the electrician before performing multiple roles over the following years.
Graeme led the Premier Speedway Club as President for nine years, his first term in 1989/90, holding the position for seven straight years before taking a year off and returning a year later for another two years.
He also held the General Manager role for six years, his first in 1996 with his last in 2003. Graeme also invested much energy into the maintenance at the venue, serving on the maintenance committee, and significantly contributing to the infrastructure of Premier Speedway.
Graeme earned accolades during his leadership such as Promoter of the Year in 2002/03 which also corresponded with his final year as General Manager, stepping down at the conclusion of the 2002/03 season.
Graeme was formally acknowledged in 2004 when he very deservedly was awarded Life Membership of the Premier Speedway Club.
Thank you Graeme for your dedication and contribution to the Premier Speedway Club. Our thoughts are with Merrill, Sharon, Karolyn, Darrell and extended family at this time.
